He is a champion of environmental conservation and sustainable agriculture. He has done considerable work in organic agriculture and food safety and subscribes to various food safety certification bodies. He has a work experience of 30 years in Agricultural extension having started as a Divisional Agricultural Extension Officer and risen to District Agricultural Officer before being transferred to Ministry of Agriculture Headquarters and then deployed to Agriculture and Food Authority- Fibre Crops Directorate.

Mr. Adhola holds a Master Degree in Rural Systems Management from The University of Queensland, Australia and a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Education and Extension from Egerton University. He has interest in upgrading the knowledge and skills of professionals working in the rural and regional development fields with a strong background in agricultural extension and management, strategic leadership and planning, project management and evaluation, rural development, community resource mobilization, participatory rural appraisal and conflict resolution and negotiation. His working experience span over twenty-eight (28) years and joined the Ministry of Agriculture in 1997 after a two years’ service with the Teachers Service Commission from 1995. He later worked with Cotton Development Authority (CODA) where he rose through various ranks and positions. He was awarded the prestigious Executive Dean’s Commendation for High Achievement in 2006 and 2007 at The University of Queensland, Australia where he performed exemplary well.
